Vanity Fair cancels Tinseltown Oscar night



Vanity Fair has cancelled its annual Academy Awards party on 24 February even though the writers social club is said to be on track for a possible handle with studios.
A statement posted on VanityFair.com said: "After much considerateness, and in keep of the writers and everyone else affected by this impress, we have decided that this is non the set aside class to have our annual Oscar party."
The magazine added: "We need to congratulate entirely of this year's nominees and we look forrard to hosting our 15th Academy Award party next year."
The annual post-Oscar soiree often lures to a greater extent luminaries than the ceremony itself and the case has been a secureness for partygoers since its inception in 1994.
